SPIRIT WEEK...Huron Academy style......

Last week Emily's school had spirit week, remember how fun it was to dress up in zany weird ways? Check out some of the creations we came up with.

1. Career day! ( come as the career you want to be when you grow up!!)

2. Crazy hair and miss-matched clothes day!!

3. 80's day!!!( this one was ESPECIALLY cool for me because I 'am an 80's child..note the different looks all in one..ie: leg-warmers,mini-skirt,BIG HAIR!!( LOTS of HAIRSPRAY!!),glove,(gotta love the Michael Jackson look) and the famous off the shoulder with the tank-top strap showing!)

Emmy had a Really great time at her birthday party tonight, she invited some of her closest friends to share her speial day.. thank you too all who came and helped share her day.. judging by the pictures looked like EVERYONE had a BLAST!!!

WOW!!!!! where did the time go????? When did my 'baby' grow up?? It seems like only yesterday when she was born and now she is SEVEN!! How I love this precious ANGEL God has granted me to raise.. Some peole throw around the phrase' Gods children without knowing the real meaning of that. NOT ME!!! You see both of my children are a gift from God.. I was told many years ago I may never be able to have children.. how sad.. to grow up in this life and never hold a child of your own.. so when my son was born I was overjoyed with happiness.. and then when my little Emmy was born 6 years later I knew that with GOD all things are possible!!! God granted me with these two children of HIS to raise and love while here on Earth..He has given Me... the awesome responsibilty to raise these precious children of HIS. I can never never live up to the standards of God I WILL make mistakes I will 'LOSE' it at times I WILL feel like a failure.. BUT thats o.k. BECAUSE GOD.... OUR FIRST and LOVING FATHER has placed these children in MY care BECAUSE HE BELIEVES IN ME!! SO when I say my prayers at night the always go like this....

thank you LORD for giving ME the awesome responsibility of YOUR children, to raise them in YOUR name.. to teach them in YOUR ways... for blessing Me with children who I love with all my heart and treasure every day with.. Thank you God Thank you........

power tumbling....

both of my kids are in power tumbling which is a part of gymnastics only instead you learn trampoline, tumble track, and the mini (trampoline). they are both currently ranked at a level 7 which is great!! Timmy who started a year after Emmy caught on real fast probably because he's older.. I am SOOOO PROUD of them!!!

The other day I finally let Emmy go outside to play.. she's not allowed outside when its below 40 degrees because of her seasonal asthma so winter can be pretty hard on her.. here she is playing with some friends down the street with their 'snow friend'.
